AlyssaGP/ HLM ELL/ GeopoliticsAlyssa was the top scorer in ELL in both Y5 and Y6, with her essays used as exemplars for 4 out of 5 internal exams in school. Having caught the linguistics bug, she will be pursuing Linguistics further at university! As for History, she came out top in Y6, scoring 28/30 and 27/30 for SEA & iHist essays respectively during her time in JC!

AmyGP/ HELMAmy has consistently scored As & Bs in History and GP throughout JC, and scored all As at A Levels. Most notably, for History, she once scored 27/30 for an iHist SBQ (b)! Grades aside, Amy perhaps is the most qualified out of all of us to teach; this English relief teacher at RI currently spends her days at home conducting HBL.

MohE/ HLMKI/ LiteratureMoh scored an A for nearly all History examinations and graded assignments, and her essays were used as the level-wide exemplar multiple times! For KI, her essays for History and Social Sciences were used as the model essays too. Moh also has 8 distinctions for A Levels under her belt and will be pursuing Public Policy & perhaps Symbolic Systems (a mix of computer science, philosophy, and linguistics) or regional studies of some form at university.

Lorraine made the bold choice to study German at As, and her fluency in this guttural tongue is proven not just in grades (though, she has those too — an A in German at As, and the Test DAF-Niveau 4 & 5 for Listening & Reading Compre and Writing & Speaking respectively) but in her decision to pursue higher studies in Germany. She plans to study History & Politics and is a versatile tutor in all her fields!
